I’d never seen Gloria’s Incredible Edibles before, but this particular treat caught my attention. A PB&J brownie? That didn’t seem to compute, so I had to give it a try. Once I got it home, I discovered exactly what it was. Essentially, it is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but instead of bread, it uses a brownie. That’s right. It’s a brownie, cut in half, and used to make a PB&J sandwich. I said it twice, because I personally couldn’t believe it the first time I saw it. It is the butter in the brownie that is medicated. The role then of the peanut butter and jelly? Awesomeness. And you won’t regret eating it all, because they are chock full of natural ingredients: cannabis butter, flour, sugar, eggs, peanut butter, and strawberry jam.
Gloria’s Incredible Edibles have declared themselves the “Rolls Royce of Edibles”. But what gives them that distinction? The cost? Perhaps how they are made? Or is it because they have taken the standard to a decadently unnecessary level. Bingo! You can buy a magic brownie anywhere, but this one will make you feel like an English lord being driven down his country lane while sipping sherry in the back seat.
There was unfortunately no listing of THC mg levels on packaging, so we were flying bit blind in our review. Our intention was to eat the entire edible, but it was too rich for us in a single sitting. There were the typical body dominant effects expected in an edible: physical relaxation, loose limbs, heavy head. I also noticed quite a bit of drowsiness, but it didn’t translate to couch lock or immediate insomnia relief. There wasn’t much in cerebral effects, although mood elevation for me often goes hand in hand with pain relief. Don’t expect a knock out edible high. I would guesstimate the THC level around 75mg. But weighing highs is anything but a science, which is why I urge labelling by the manufacturer.
