Based on past experience alone, I expected great things from this Bodhi Seeds bred hybrid of Nepali OG and Snow Lotus. Goji OG has graced this site many times in the past, always attached to other strains, in shatters and waxes. This time out, I had the privilege to isolate it in its own extract. Named after the himalayan Goji berry due to its rather mountainous themed genetics, this tart tasting extract carries with it the air of an alpine meadow.
My half gram donation was made of a pair of large honeycomb planets and a smaller moon. The extract was hard and dry and absolutely sparkled. Over shatters like this explode in light when brought under the LEDs. Dabbing was a breeze since the rocks broke apart so easily, though at times, my dabs would crumble and fall off my dab tool. Each dab created huge clouds of clean, tasty vapor, and its purity allowed me to take larger dabs than I normally would with no fear of irritation or coughing.
Expect standard OG effects from Goji OG, mellow and mild, making it an effective daytime indica lean for sedation from anxiety without locking or knocking. It picks up sativa genetics from Hawaiian and Thai landraces, giving it an uplifting quality, and it is important to remember that it is an sativa dominant hybrid. Some on the grow boards were arguing landrace kush genetics, but it lacked the kick that kush gives for potent pain relief or insomnia control. Instead it is a pleasant and comforting strain that offers relaxation and stress relief.
