I stopped into Dank Depot for the first time a couple weeks ago, and the helpfulness of the staff and their eagerness to create a great experience impressed me. I was in the market for some shatter, but all the HGH extracts were OGs. I was looking specifically for a sativa, so the manager went to the back to grab me one from the freezer. They didn’t have any sativa HGH’s in the house, so he brought out a different brand. He was very apologetic, but frankly, I was stoked to see it was Blue Dream.
The branding on the package said Pure 710 extracts, and it was my first time trying this company’s concentrates. They had very similar packaging to HGH, sharp and clean, with an outer card envelope and parchment paper. If imitation is flattery, then…
Now, it’s no secret I love Blue Dream. I’ve practically shouted my love from the proverbial rooftops. In my mind, it is one of the best daytime strains around. Some find it too stimulating in the senses and too hazy in the head, but to me, that is the appeal. It tiptoes the line of a spacy indica, but the sativa keeps it active enough for work use, especially if you are working alone. It is hard to hold conversations, and I’ve spouted many typical no point stoner stories while on Blue Dream.
This shatter is a deep amber color and glitters under the LEDs. This is one of the main reasons I prefer shatters: they are gorgeous to look at. In my Cloud pen, big vapor hits seemed to explode off the coil. The effects are extreme and immediate. Having a panic attack? Nothing will calm you faster. Stress overwhelming you? The slight disconnect will help put it in perspective. As far as psychosomatic relief, Blue Dream is a patient’s little helper.
