Most of the top level dispensaries in the OC have their own proprietary strain, named after their dispensary and geared toward promoting their business. Dank Depot was smart to follow suit, making an impression for themselves with a quality strain. So what strain did Dank Depot use for their title strain? Skywalker x OG Kush. Yeah. Nice choice.
The first thing you notice about this bud is the deep woodsy appearance. A dark green and lumpy bud, it is accented by clumps of rich brown hairs. The crystals on its surface aren’t immediately obvious, but the stickiness tells you they are there. The scent is mostly a spicy incense. There are also notes of musk and citrus. The taste also emphasizes pinewood and citrus, both predominant flavors in OG Kush.
Dank Depot was a stress and tension killer. I found it first to be talkative, but at times, it was equally introspective. Also expect it to be mellow and hazy from the OG Kush. I could work, but it took some effort. The relaxed body buzz offers pain relief without the narcotic effects a pure indica might bring. In all, I’d recommend Dank Depot for relief from minor pain, the physical effects of anxiety, and work stress.
