I struggled recently with a simple, almost zen like question. If your edible is a drink, is it still an edible? I took most of the afternoon to ruminate on the topic before making the most obvious conclusion. Technically, no. It’s a potable. But that means I’d have to create a whole new category on my site for medical potables, and I’m just not that interested in splitting hairs.
Firstly, be aware that this is not a screw top. You will need an opener, something I failed to realize the first time I donated for a Kushtown Soda. I loved the label on this product. Laid over a picture of a fluffy white cake are a happily stoned strawberry groom and pot leaf bride. There is also all the typical nutritional information you’d find on any product in the supermarket.
There is a strong imitation, candy strawberry smell when the bottle is opened. The soda and foam are bright pink, like a Strawberry Fanta. I found it to be delightfully tasty, especially on a hot SoCal day. The cake taste is obvious as a batter and frosting sugariness, sweetening the strawberry flavor further.
One of my favorite topics on Jeopardy has long been Potent Potables, and never has that saying been more true before this drink. At 78 mg of THC, I like it as a single serve size. Some looking for less medication might want to share. It noticed that it hit right away. Because it’s a drink and takes less time to digest? Seems reasonable to me. There was no information on strain type on the label, but it seemed to offer a hybrid effect. As with most edibles, the physical lightness and body buzz are the first to be noticed. The uplifting mood change comes next as it works its way to peak. I was joyful and talkative and had no problem settling in for some work I had planned. As the high subsided several hours later, it had a soft, physical letdown. From front to back, this is a thoroughly satisfying medication.
