I have had a long and bumpy relationship with lemon bars when it comes to edibles, including one rather over the top experience with a 240 mg treat that, although delicious, left me twisted into the fetal position and drove home the point that you should always read the packaging and eat half and wait. But still, in the end, I love lemon bars, both medicated and not, and I couldn’t wait to tear into this one from 530 Edibles, knowing it would be superb.
Like the key lime and raspberry bars we reviewed earlier from 530 Edibles, the lemon bar was incredibly soft and moist. The brilliant citrus flavor had all the essence of natural lemon with a light crust and a dusting of powdered sugar on top. The ingredients are simple and wholesome: butter, sugar, lemon, eggs, flour, and of course, cannabis. Just like the lemon bars you would make at home, 530 Edibles uses only basic, on-hand items to craft their treats. Our sample was left out of fridge for some time, and although spoilage can be an issue with no preservatives and refrigeration is recommended, it was no worse for wear.
With 70 mg of THC packed into this modest sized dessert, there is no shortage of relief at your fingertips. As I’ve experienced with other 530 Edibles products, the high was fun and sociable, perfect as a way to start your day or enjoy your afternoon. However, there is plenty of looseness in the muscles and joints, adding mild to moderate pain relief and loads of physical relaxation. If you are looking for all-over relief for medical issues ranging from depression to PTSD to chronic pain, look no further than 530 Edibles. Available from Strictly OG.
