My Peanut Butter Swirl Bar was born on 4/20. No really. And it was in my hand, and inevitably, my stomach, just a few short days later. That is one of many reasons why I love Trikom Treats. Thanks to their precise packaging, I always know when my edible was tested, when it was baked, and regardless of the dispensary in which I find their products, they are always fresh, always perfect.
As a lover of peanut butter, especially if I’m already high, I knew this edible was going to be bad news. So in order to preempt any bad decisions later, I ate the entire bar in one sitting during a cross country flight. This was no problem, as it was incredibly delicious and the airline wasn’t offering food. The moist peanut butter cookie bar is garnished with a fudgy chocolate swirl on top, capitalizing on a famously delicious flavor combination. Although I could have done with a better pairing than airline coffee, needless to say, this edible made my trip.
Of the recent samples I obtained from Trikom Treats for review, the Peanut Butter Swirl Bar was the big winner, clocking in at over 110 mg of cannabinoids and nearly double the CBD of some of Trikom Treats other edibles. Despite my typical dose being between 50-75 mg, the full weight of this edible’s 110 mg was not intrusive. For upwards of five and a half hours hurtling through the sky, I never felt “stoned” or was left incapable. Throughout, this Peanut Butter Swirl Bar offered a calming high, without being sedative to locking. Excellent for when you need to medicate and still be responsible, there is a mix of clarity and purposefulness in the mind and a soothing sensation in the body best described as warm and buzzing that surpasses the effectiveness of most over the counter pills.
