Casa Luna specializes in crafting handmade, small batch, bean to bar chocolate for the discerning medical marijuana patient. Committed to making organic and kosher edibles that never use additives or preservatives, they focus on ensuring only the highest quality ingredients make it into their edibles. Casa Luna carries an extensive line of THC and CBD rich flavors in their infused chocolate bars, giving patients a wide choice to keep from becoming bored with their medication, and with well over a dozen flavors, there is sure to be a favorite for you.
The bar we tested for our first review of Casa Luna was their vegan milk chocolate. Made from a simple mix of organic cocoa, organic coconut sugar, and organic coconut cream, this bar is as pure a chocolate experience as is available in the medical cannabis market. The vegan bar had a separated, chalky texture, possibly due to the heat, by the time we got to reviewing it, but the taste was pure and light. And being a much healthier, more ethical replacement to other infused chocolate bars, we felt better about medicating with it.
The Casa Luna vegan milk chocolate bar contains 250 mg of cannabinoids per bar. No slouch in the tolerance level here, I was easily able to split the sectioned bar into smaller, more reasonable doses. Hold each segment in your mouth for several seconds to encourage faster sublingual uptake. Tiny pieces can also be dropped easily into coffee or lattes or chopped over ice cream for a more creative way to medicate.
The high came on quickly in an uplifting, spirited fashion. My mood was raised and activities were more engaging. As the effects neared their peak, it became tiresome, and physical relaxation began to border on sedation. At high doses, these edibles transition from cerebral to physical in their relief much more prominently, making their effects variable in their usefulness.
