Subtle Tea Infused Tea Review

Subtle Tea Infused Tea Review

Tea has long been recognized as a near sacred ritual by civilizations around the world. As has cannabis use. Put them together, and you have a moment of precious enlightenment in this work-a-day world. From the pause it takes in your day to heat the kettle to the few minutes you wait for the tea to steep, Subtle Tea will force you to slow down and take a moment for yourself.

Green Tea: The first tea we tried was Subtle Tea’s green tea. More than with the other flavors, be sure not to over steep green tea, 1-3 minutes will do it. Made with sencha green tea, it is packed with antioxidants and can prevent issues with the brain and heart, as well as prevent cancer.

Black Tea: I cannot turn down a rich ceylon black tea. Adding cannabis only sweetens the deal.  I like my black tea with cream and sugar for an invigorating beginning to my day, and it has long been my replacement for an early morning coffee.

Chai Tea: Bold and lively but naturally caffeine free, chai tea is the spicy alternative to ceylon tea. Good for after dinner while relaxing on the porch. Because it is caffeine free, you don’t need to worry about being kept up all night.

Sleep Well Tea: I’ve gotten used to drinking tea before bed as a nightly ritual, so this caffeine-free pm formula is the perfect night cap to my day. The gentle high and warm tea will help you drift softly off to sleep. The herbal tea is a mix of spearmint, west indian lemongrass, hawthorn and orange blossoms infused with chamomile, tilia estrella, and valerian to promote a full night’s sleep.

Each tea bag in the Subtle Tea line contains 40 mg of THC.  A good moderate dose for most experienced patients, but beginners need to be cautious.  These teas are difficult to dose out fractionally, though it is possible after the tea has been steeped.

A great alternative to fatty edibles, Subtle Teas have zero calories unless milk and sugar are added. I do suggest adding milk to help absorption of the active cannabinoids into your system since cannabinoids are fat soluble. The high starts much faster than when using traditional edibles, making drinking cannabis a popular trend among those who prefer not to smoke but don’t care for the wait of edibles.

Take a moment for yourself today and steep yourself a cup of Subtle Tea.
