4.20 Bar Edible Review

4.20 Bar Edible Review

We first reviewed the 4.20 Bar back before they added blackberry to their popping candy bar, when our site was still a modest WordPress blog.  But this time out, we got to take an extended journey through the entire 4.20 Bar product line, getting to know each flavor individually and gaining a better understanding of the 4.20 Bar brand.  Some things are shared across the flavors.  The first of this is consistency.  Each 1 ounce bar has six segmented doses, making compounded dosing easier.  The segments are on the small side, leaving room for multiple pieces per serving, so the 4.20 Bar is effective for both beginner and seasoned patients.

Milk Chocolate: We started our review with their base chocolate bar, the 38% cacao milk chocolate.  Setting the tone for the rest of the bars in the line with its smooth, tasty chocolate and zero cannabis taste, the milk chocolate bar prepared us for how easily the 4.20 Bar would become an essential part of our day.

4.20 Bar Edible Review

Milk Chocolate and Toffee: This variant uses the same milk chocolate bar as above and adds chunks of sweet toffee.  Making the most of the caramelized sugar, the toffee bar provides the chocolate a complimentary sweetness and a delightful crunch.

Milk Chocolate Hemp Crunch:  And speaking of crunchy, the Hemp Crunch bar is loaded with hemp hearts and crisped rice to give it its signature crunch.  It very much tastes like a Nestle Crunch or a Krackle bar.  And I fricking love Krackle bars.  However, the 4.20 Bar version brings with it omegas 3,6, and 9, the fatty acids widely celebrated for preventing strokes, diabetes, and heart disease and for promoting cell growth and a healthy immune system, so the Hemp Crunch bars are quite a bit better for me than the Krackles I had to sell for Little League.

CBD Dark Chocolate: Those interested in the whole body benefit offered by the omegas will also enjoy the interactions of CBD as an antioxidant.  The only bar not packing 180 mg of THC, the CBD bar splits its cannabinoids in a 2 to 1 ratio of CBD to THC.  Eaten after trips to the gym, the antiinflammatory properties helped soothe arthritic joints, while its antipsychotic, antianxiety, and antidepressive properties keep me on an even keel.

Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt: The second in the dark chocolate series features a complement of sea salt for its 61% cacao.  The salt is salty.  The dark chocolate, slightly bitter and velvety on the tongue.  For those who crave the currently popular dark chocolate and sea salt pairing, this bar will satisfy you. and then some.

Blackberry Dark Chocolate and Popping Candy: The delightfully different addition of popping candy causes a pause when eating pieces of this chocolate bar.  And when the user holds the chocolate in their mouth to let the candy pop, it not only increases enjoyment of the dark chocolate and berry flavors, but it also encourages faster sublingual uptake.  This way the THC enters the system faster and effects are felt earlier.

With the exception of the CBD bar, each 4.20 Bar has 180 mg of THC per bar and 30 mg of THC per segment across the product line.  Taken one or two pieces at a time to match my tolerance, the chocolate was allowed to melt in my mouth, speeding along the effects.  Within 45 minutes, the effects near peak potency, creating a distracting and uplifting high.  Despite having an anxious few weeks, my experience with the line of 4.20 Bars has helped ease the weight of stress on my mind and in my shoulders.  However, the versatility of this edible doesn’t stop there.  When eaten before a trip to the gym, it soothes muscle ache and allows for a prolonged workout.  With its combined mental and physical effects, the 4.20 Bar is the solution to nearly all your symptoms.
