A utopia is “an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect”. A term first used by Sir Thomas More in 1516 in the book by the same name, it seems humans have been in search for a utopia of sublime happiness ever since we were discarded from one in the Garden of Eden. However, thanks to PSA, we can finally have a slice of enlightened perfection all for ourselves.
Utopia OG’s conical buds are a lightly faded green, accented by occasional red-brown hairs. The buds were plenty shimmery under the LEDs, and although not sticky, the trichome content was significant. As soon as the jar was opened, I was greeted by sweetly scented buds, giving hints of floral and herbal notes when broken up that are best described as being analogous to eucalyptus. The green hit was equally herby, with an added flavorful pine in the exhale.
This strain’s utopia is primarily a physical one, as expected from an Indica dominant strain. Euphoric in the mind and relaxing in the body, after a very stressful week, Utopia OG is the type of strain you want to get your hands on. Its sedation is not enough to put you to sleep, but the calming body melt and distraction in the mind are excellent for a range of anxieties and PTSD.
